BP POWER TO THE TOP OF GROUP A
Action from match between PNSB and BP Soccer Academy Penang based BP Soccer Academy moved to the top of Group A standings after week 8 action of the New Straits Times Junior Community Football League played over the weekend at the Dataran Petaling Jaya field.In their first match on Saturday, BP faced a fast improving Akademi Meba FC. The first half saw both teams evenly matched with a few scoring opportunities. The game came into life in the second half with BP taking the lead in 29th minute courtesy of an own goal by Meba’s Muhammad Firdaus Misdan. Muhammad Zahril Azri Zabri than scored in the 35 minute to secure a 2-0 win for BP. |

JASMINE PUTRA AND REMAJA BERSATU SERVE NOTICE  Action from match between Jasmine Putra United and Junior Soccer Schools Malaysia Semenyih based Jasmine Putra United and Kelab Bolasepak Remaja Bersatu moved into third and fourth place respectively in Group B after week 7 action of the New Straits Times Junior Community Football League played on Sunday 25th April at the Dataran Petaling Jaya field. Debutants Jasmine Putra United are slowly making their presence felt and along with Butterworth based Akademi Persatuan Sukan Bintang Biru are the only unbeaten teams after the end of Group B Round 1 matches. |

Action from match between Jasmine Junior FC and Mahkota ootball Academy Setapak based Jasmine Junior FC moved into third place in Group B of the New Straits Times Junior Community Football League after week 6 of league action played on Saturday 17th April at the Dataran Petaling Jaya field. Jasmine Junior FC who together with Semenyih based Jasmine Putra United are sponsored by Jasmine Food Corporation, saw off a determined challenge from Little League Soccer to register a 2-0 win in their first game of the day thanks to goals from Muhammad Ammar Othman (21st minute) and Muhammad Amirul Amran (40th minute). |

JOY FOR UKRC, FRUSTRATIONS FOR BINTANG BIRU
Action from match between UKRC and Royal Selangor Club
Ulu Klang Recreation Club (UKRC) maintained their winning ways for the second consecutive week after registering 5-0 and 2-1 wins over Little League Soccer and Royal Selangor Club (RSC) respectively in week 5 action played on Sunday 11th April. In their first match against an under strength Little League Soccer, who were without a number of their first team players, UKRC were 1-0 up as early as the 11th minute through a goal from Nareendren Puniyamurti. Despite the early lead and dominance, the UKRC boys just could not convert their scoring chances and trooped off at half time with only a goal to show. |

YFA BINTANG MUDA GUNS DOWN SOCCERKIDS AND PKNS FC
Action from match between Soccerkids-MBSA and CIMB-YFA Bintang Muda CIMB-YFA Bintang Muda stretched their unbeaten run to seven matches when the defeated arch Group A rivals Akademi Bolasepak PKNS FC and Akademi Soccerkids-MBSA over the weekend. Playing defending champions Akademi PKNS FC in their first match on Saturday, YFA boys took the game to the defending champions from the word go, and had the PKNS defence back peddling. Their early pressure paid off in the 19 minute when Alif Haikal off a through ball from winger Dinesh Raja Singam, send in a perfect cross to his striking partner Faiq Razin Zariq for a simple tap-in give his a goal lead into halftime. |
