Similar comments like others..i only came to know about this after seeing it in ASTRO. Thanks to ASTRO for this. Since I am in Cheras, I am interested to send my Son who is good player in the school team to the Mahkota Football Academy club.

It was a surprise to know that there is such an event!

It was enjoyable to see the kids play and a feeling of awe at some of the talent displayed.

For a woman especially it is wonderful to see that young girls are in the teams and playing in the games! Truly a fantastic outlet for young girls to be able to play in what is a mostly male dominated sport in Malaysia.

Hope to see that this becomes a permanent yearly event and maybe one day to see an all female squad!

I must say that I'm impressed with the organizers & Astro for taking football development at grassroot level very seriously & into another level. I take my hats off for both these parties. If one day in the future a player from this project makes it big, credit must also go to Astro & the organizers. Of course the parents & the respective academies play their part but for a huge & established cable television network to join in by throwing their support behind this project with the airing of weekly highlights is a bold move & must be respected. For example I've become a fan by watching these highlights & now I'm a regular at the ground on weekends. There is still room for improvement though & Astro could do better on the promotion but I believe the path has been set & it is the right one. Good luck & hope to see this league going strong for many years come.

P/S: If the website could be updated with more detailed teams & players info, I think it would be great for the fans.

Brilliant work! Thank you so much for giving our kids a platform. My kid was getting tired of training and playing 7-a-side friendlies in some carnival of the other...

He got second wind now and looks forward to every weekend. His home work and house work is done by friday. Can even get him to help take out the rubbish now....haha

Thank you for your prompt respond. I m definitely enjoying the tournament as my son’s team is taking part and I love football. WE need to enhance Promotion of the event to bring in more visitors. I m sure the fans would prefer watching our kids play rather than some of the games in the M League !

I saw the MILO van last Sunday but it didn’t stay very long……Hope we can get more promotion going through Astro.
